Keep Thread, Group and Column Sort Settings for All Folders, Including New Ones
I will complain a bit by Thunderbird UX, but my question is clear:
- If I group one folder, and change its column settings, it will apply for the current folder only
- I then can choose to apply these settings to Folders and subfolders within a certain group (like parent mailbox on children folders) (right clicking on column title)
- But every time I create a new folder, I lose the sort and settings and group settings
- So, how to keep it?
Also, my complain about UX is, well, just a complain:
- Had to use addons to see a field with the actual address from the sender, instead of name
- Had to search how to thread, because it's not on by default AND had to lookup how to add my answers to thread. IMO it's impossible to track a conversation through email without threading. Should be on by default IMO.
By the way, I've used to use Mail for MacOS. Now I am seeing the power of Thunderbird, but its UX seems obnoxiously difficult sometimes.

ALSO: would be good to keep the column width preferences saved too.
