I get that this is a free browser, does anyone have the time to help me find a setting? In all other browsers, when you've visited one URL multiple times, the broser "remembers" that URL. But after using firefox for >1 year, visiting "gmail.com" daily, the browser still refuses to remember that URL. Secondly, the very few URLs it actually remembers, it never remembers the FULL URL. Let's say there's a site, where I only ever visit "site.com/location". All other browsers remember this, so next time I start typing the URL, the browser autocompletes the URL to "site.com/location". HOWEVER firefox only completes the first half of the URL, so it assumes I want to visit "site.com" instead of "site.com/location". Question: How do I get Firefox to start remembering ALL URLs that I visit often, and remember the full URL (not just the domain & TLD)? Attempted fixes: Checked that history is turned on. (Yes) No other fixes found. It's weird that it is only SOME URLs that are affected by the "can't remember URL-bug", for example "gmail.com".
