Hi Folks, When I attach a zipped file Thunderbird always inflates the size of the attached file. I have a .zip right now that properties says is 29,446,144 bytes, but Thunderbird reports it as being over 38mb!

This is a real PITA because my server will mail 30mb attachments no problem, and I often have 25mb files, but they always get over-reported and won't send.

Does anyone have an idea about why this occurs?

Thanks In Advance! dave255
