When drafting email, how do I "save as" into specific subfoulder?
I hate having all my draft email in one big jumbled pile. Email drafts go through stages that need sorting. I would use tags, but Thunderbird tags dont sync to k9 mail, which i use as part of these stages.
A solution I would like is to have subfolders within my "drafts" folder, to better manage the different kinds of email I need to send. However, when I tried this by creating the subfolders and moving the drafts into their respective draft folders and then went to edit the mail (without sending it), instead of saving the draft email in the subfolder it originated from, it saves in the "drafts" master folder.
This is annoying, if there is a draft email in a subfolder that lives under "Drafts", then when I go into that subfolder to edit the email (edit, not send), when I go to save the file it should save in the same subfolder.
But I could deal with that, I thought. I could just use "save as". but using the "save as" feature does not work. I navigate to the local directory where the email is stored (I use maildir), but I cant tell which file to over-write, as the file names are incomprehensible. and even if I just saved a new file, the new draft email does not appear in thunderbird.
If I just had two buckets of draft email I needed to send I could use the "templates" option, but I dont, I have four buckets of draft email that cant really be mixed (or rather, if I did mix them, it would not be any better then just having one big drafts foulder).

This solution takes far to long for something I need to do a while bunch. I need to navigate 5 sub menues, options, send a copy to, choosing mail acount, chooseing drafts, choosing sub foulder, and do it *several times per email*, for every email I draft)
it also results in an unacceptable proliferation of copys of draft emails.
Another solution is needed.
