get back to old address book
i tried setting mail.addr_book.useNewAddressBook to false, but i am still getting the new one. i did restart TB

what exactly are you trying to achieve? I have no idea what you think toggling that setting is going to achieve.
i want to get back to the old address book format/action where e.g. i could type an M and it would go to the beginning M's, now it goes to any irrelevant M somewhere in the address. i just want to use the old address book.
why was this changed without any user input?
how can i get back to the old address book format?
