Dear ...

I get overlapping letters, symbols, etc on the following html page

is this a problem of settings or incompatibility ? is there any way to solve this ?

FYI, this problem does not happen, when viewing same page on mobile android phone thru firefox (!!!!).

Yes, they seem to be using a player on Android (Screen Reader publication) that works differently like you can swipe left/right to get the previous/next page and you can get a thumbnails view to select a page. If I request the desktop version then I get the same issue. it looks we are out of luck on desktop (i.e. it would have to be redesigned for HTML5). They want to use the Symbol font and not Unicode replacements to display the symbols.
