Lost tabs after compacting
I was prompted to compact my inbox, and immediately lost all of my carefully curated tabbed emails. I rely on these to remind me of my work progress and obligations. Why do they drop off when I compact?

A Thunderbird session with its opened tabs ist saved in the "session.json" file and also in a the "session.json.backup" file in the Thunderbird profile folder https://mzl.la/2cYKHaB
Without guarantee: Thunderbird closed, you could try to delete the actual session.json file and rename the second file in session.json, then start TB. Do it at once before session.json.backup will be overwritten.
