in Firefox 3.6.6 gmail won't stay open; reverts to google calendar; can't read mail
using firefox 3.6.6 on Vista home premium gmail opens but is instantly replaced by google calendar... can't read mail...

Can only open the mail if its shown as incoming mail in the Google talk application. :(
Works in Chrome and Safari and it continues to happen in Firefox 4 beta.
Also..I am on a Mac and it's happening here too!
I was able to fix by opening Tools, Integrated Gmail and removing Calendar from Element Section.
Correction: Last post was by rudi, not Kenny... and I am using firefox 3.6.6

I had the same problem too. Removing Calendar from the Element Section didn't work for me. But disabling the Firefox add-ons Integrated Gmail did!
same issue with Win XP removing calendar works
Same issue with windows 7, removing add-on integrated mail helps
I have the same problem, I can't read my gmail because the Agenda opens .... What can I do ?? olease help me !!! (firefox, vista).
