When I right mouse click on a web page, google maps for example, I see both the menu for the maps and teh 'normal' menu from Firefox sitting on top of the first menu.

When I right mouse click on a web page, i.e. google maps, two menus are displayed. The menu from google maps and the menu from Firefox. The menu from Firefox sits on top of the other menu rendering it useless.

  1. In the Tools menu select Options to open the Options window
  2. Go to the Content panel, then click on the Advanced button to the right of "Enable JavaScript"
  3. Make sure the option "Disable or replace context menus" is selected
