My home page is Canadian and I live in Northern Michigan. How can I change to USA as my beginning?

Go to http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=0&hl=en
Next, go to Tools | Options | General. Make sure it says "Show My Home page" at the top. Then click the button called "Use Current Pages".
