refresh and stop button integration sucks
Refresh and stop button integration sucks. Specially because the find url button (green with arrow to the right) is also in it. That means that I cannot refresh the page after I typed anything in the URL bar. These buttons used to work. Why did you change it? Don't you know that stealing functionality or even layout from IE will change everything into shit?
The refresh button on the right of the screen is extremely impractical. Same goes for the home button. For smooth and easy operation it is better if all controls are close together. So buttons near the menu bar, preferably on the left side. In full screen mode on my screen the home button is 37 cm (14.5 inch) away from the back button. That is just wrong.
Your layout used to be ok. But it is a mess now. Artists make useless things. So I hope your designers don't see themselves as such.

To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
- Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize" or via "Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout"
- Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
- Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
- Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise to get two distinct buttons.
Thanks. It took me a few seconds to figure out I had to move the buttons on the actual toolbar and not in the popup window. But it is ok now. I moved the home button also.

FF: options>toolbar layout - where the heck is toolbar layout??
You can find Toolbar Layout in the Option menu of the orange Firefox button:
- Firefox > Options > Toolbar Layout.
It is the same as View > Toolbars > Customize if you use the menu bar.
So the page hangs. It keeps trying to load. the "stop load" button shows. That's my introduction to this idiotic idea. I'm scrambling around to reload the hung page and finally just went back to the URL bar and highlighted it and hit enter.
I'm thinking - so that's how Firefox developers are saving screen real estate? What is the big issue with having 2 buttons? They are so GIGANTIC? Soon they'll figure out how to integrate "back" and "forward."
I go to the toolbar properties to add back the stupid refresh button, and it's not there! I see the instructions above for "customizing" the toolbar. I've already been there - the "refresh" function is not there. Is the refresh button disguised as something else?
I just realized I could click "stop" so that the refresh button would appear, but then why would I ever think to click "stop" first when I could just interrupt the page and reload it in one motion??? Basically, you're telling us to reveal the refresh button, you have to click on it first! On top of that, my Toolbar "customize" page is void of a refresh button.

You can press the ESC key or click the Stop button to stop the loading and then click the Reload button or use (Ctrl+) F5 or (Shift+) Ctrl+ R to reload a page.
