a website that I use often told me that my browser wasnt supported. Firfox has worked fine int he past so I attempted to download the newest version. It told me to turn off Firefox to permit installation of newest version, but am unsure how to do so. I have upgraded tonewer versions of firefos many times and never encountered this problem.

Thanks

To make sure Firefox is closed, use the red Firefox button (or the File menu) then Exit.

Double check that firefox.exe is no longer running in the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager.
