Logging on to bank opening page I get the message "Firefox has prevented this page from automatically re-directing to another page". Is this a potential security issue? Keith. <k.vugler@gmail.com>

Yes it is a potential security issue, that's why Firefox alerts you to that re-direct attempt.

Thanks. Reassuring to know I'm not the only one. Can't believe how casual the bank are being about this issue. Keith

It is an accessibility feature.

Hi cor-el. Thanks for your interest and reply. When getting back to me, my bank IT people did not regard this as a problem due to the way their site opens and transfers. It was suggested that I disable the function by following the route through tools>advanced etc., as mapped in your reply. I don't choose to do this, but am re-assured by their response. I apply Rapport to any financial transaction sites. They re-inforced this and also pointed me to the Malwarebytes download. There is a free light version. I did this and it found Malware and a Trojan on my PC. This in spite of vigilant use of a market leading Anti-virus already installed and regularly updated. Malwarebytes is a scan you can use as and when. It doesn't interfere with your other running protection software. If you are already aware of all this, accept my apologies. I hope it may prove useful to someone out there. Regards, Keith.
