Firefox Sync feature has been released in Firefox 4. If you are using Firefox 3.x version, you need Update to the latest version:

-> Tap ALT key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar

-> go to Help Menu -> About Firefox... -> click Check for Updates -> install the updates -> Restart Firefox

Now go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Sync tab will be before the Advanced tab

Check and tell if its working.
