Using Firefox 5.0 on 2 laptops. On one New Tab works, on the other it does not. Have checked every option for compatibility and all options are the same. Why does one not work?
On laptop runing Windows XP, Firefox 5.0 New Tab does not work, nor does Cntrl T. Have compared settings against another laptop running Windows 7, and everything seems the same. Tried Internet Exporer and Cntrl T works OK.

Uninstall the Ask Toolbar. It can cause that problem.
