Do you send repeated emails saying to update to Firfex 7.o.1, every 4hrs or is this spam?

I have received 3 emails all stating that I should update to Firefox 7.0.1 These have been approximately 4hrs apart. Is this a true email or is it a phishing expedition by another party?

I am not aware that Mozilla Firefox send emails advising users to update. (Unless maybe you submitted crash reports)

However Firefox will try to keep your system up-to-date with respect to firefox, unless you set it to do otherwise, this could result in popups advising you to update or telling you updates are downloaded ready to install.
