After upgrading to Firefox 8 on Mac and while in gmail when I click on a msg to open it all I get is an advertisment; not the msg text. Help.
Happens when try to open any gmail msg, older saved or new received msgs.

I had the same problem and finally noticed it had to do with AdBlock Plus. When Adblock is switched off, the messages were viewed correctly.
How to solve it and stay using AdBlock Plus
Go to "Tools", choose "Add-ons" > "AdBlock Plus Options" > "Filters" > "Update All Subscriptions"
Reload Gmail and your problem will be solved.
