when I do a shortcut to a homepage and dont put.com at the end I am directed to that homepage in India. I am in the USA
example: I put honda in the address bar and it redirects me to http://www.honda2wheelersindia.com/ this never used to happen, would always direct me to the honda US website

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
