Why does FF use pup-dm.elasticbeanstalks.com after startup?
Hi,
I use Little Snitch with my Mac (10.5). A recent upgrade of Firefox (v12) started asking for permission to connect to pup-dm.elasticbeanstalks.com after startup. I noticed that I cannot login to any web sites without approving access. Can anyone give me more info?
Thanks.

It worked! Thanks.
Now it asks for cdx.cedexis.net and ocsp.entrust.net.
I know what Entrust is all about. I guess Cedexis is legit, too.
Didn't know what elasticbeanstalks was all about, but something to do with Amazon and Java. After the Flashback deal, I'm looking over my shoulder.

You are welcome!
That is about checking certificates to make sure that there aren't revoked.
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced : Encryption: Certificates -> Validation
Cool. Thanks for the info.
Anyone know whether it's a plugin or a setting that was causing the elasticbeanstalks lookup? What the heck is it trying to do?
