firefox update 22 doesn't work as before with nosquint
After the Firefox update, my web pages are up to twice the size they were before the update. NoSquint shows the size is up to 200%. None of my old tabs show a page in a readable size. I can change the size of each page but if I restart Firefox, all of my pages are huge again. If I disable NoSquint, page size is much more reasonable but I still need to make slight adjustment for each page. I've also gone into Firefox/Options/Content/Fonts & Colors and tried different settings without success. Ideas?

Hi AlaskaSalmon, any deletes or renames of your actively used settings files are more safely done after you exit Firefox.
Firefox 22 now adjusts the page zoom level according to your Windows settings, to better supporting high DPI displays. If you have a medium adjustment (e.g., 125% font size / 120dpi), for example, you can expect the content area to be zoomed up 25% even before NoSquint kicks in.
You could try disabling NoSquint and see whether the new default size, combined with site-specific Ctrl+ and Ctrl- meets your needs.
Alternately, if you want to keep using NoSquint and avoid this new zooming of content, you can set Firefox 22 to use 100% sizing in the content area. In that case, the "chrome" area (menus, toolbars, and tabs) will not be zoomed either and will appear smaller. There is an add-on for that, of course: Theme Font & Size Changer. You might want to install that first and choose a large font size in preparation for the next step.
To give that a try,
(1) In a new tab, type or paste about:config in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(2) In the filter box, type or paste pix and pause while the list is filtered
(3) Double-click layout.css.devPixelsPerPx and change its value to 1.0 for a non-zoomed content area.
Can you find a combination that works well for you?

Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View > Zoom > Reset (Ctrl+0 (zero); Command+0 on Mac)
You can rename the content-prefs.sqlite file to content-prefs.sqlite.old (or delete the file) in the Firefox profile folder to reset the page zoom for all websites.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Show Folder (Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder)
You can delete the prefs.js file and possible numbered prefs-##.js files and a possible user.js file to reset all prefs to the default value.
Thank you! Reset the page zoom on the pages with the problem - it's all pages. I deleted the prefs.js file. I see just one. When I try to rename or delete the content-prefs.sqlite file I get a notice that "the action can't be complete because the file is open In Firefox." I'm not sure how to get around this. Ideas?
Also, I use the private browsing mode setting. Could this cause a problem?
Thanks so much for your ideas.

Thanks jscher 2000 for the explanation that Firefox 22 adjusts the page zoom levels according to the Windows settings. I tried all options you provided and the "about.config" solution works best for me. I already use the 125% font size as well as the Theme Font & Size Changer add-on (it's great!). The following might help others:
I first disabled NoSquint and found the new default size, combined with site-specific Ctrl+ and Ctrl- worked but I always seem to use the site specific Ctrl+ and Ctrl-. I like the NoSquint set it and forget it feature.
When I tried the "about.config" solution in combination with NoSquint, all of my pages look just like they used to before the Firefox update and only rarely need the site specific Ctrl+ and Ctrl-. Thanks!
