I am using my PC for ham radio stuff only, therefore I want to import only those bookmarks from Safari (a Mac). So I created a pdf document and and rtf document and the rtf opened in Wordpad. But it's just sitting on my PC's desktop.

Why don't you just delete the bookmarks you don't need after importing them onto your PC? That's much faster than editing the exported file.

If not, you can also edit the html file with wordpad/notepad - just drag the file onto the program window or right-click the file and open/open with > notepad/wordpad, edit the file and save without changing the html extension.

You need a html file to import from.

If you have your bookmarks on Safari, please export them as html: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11855

Then, in Firefox, press Ctrl+Shift+B ( open bookmark library), choose [Import and Backup]/[Import Bookmarks from a HTML...], and choose the file you exported form Safari.

I haven't been able to figure a way to edit the html file, which contains way more bookmarks than I want to introduce into the PC. I have the edited bookmarks in WordPad, but I guess that's not useable. So I guess you can't get there from here.

Thanks for reading and your response.
