1. please put a 'GIVE FEEDBACK, MAKE A SUGGESTION OR REQUEST A FEATURE' button into the Thunderbird Help menu

2. I haven't been able to find anything in Tools Options that gives layout/configuration customisation options for replies or forwards. The default is for the received text to be at the top and the cursor placed underneath this. That arrangement doesn't suit me. When replying to emails, I prefer my own text to go at the top. How do I change it, OR would you please allow the default reply/forward email payout to be customised.

Look under Tools|Accounts. It's a per-account setting. Rightly so, because some particular environment, such as a newslist, might have mandatory rules about bottom posting that would conflict with your preferred practice elsewhere.

thunderbird is by far the best client existing imo. now that this little composition thing is sorted out for me, its perfection is complete.
