My email is only set up on my laptop: How do I set it up on my mobile phone? How do I access it on other computers when away from my laptop?

Set-up your account on the mobile. There are plenty of email apps available.
For other computers (not owned by you) simply use webmail.

For other computers you own, install Thunderbird, and set-up your account there.

Use your email providers web mail site. Use any Internet browser and go to their site and log into your account there.

DO NOT install Thunderbird and set up an account on any computer that you DO NOT own or control access to.
