As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! Good Morning, I'm trying to figure out the settings on my install and I wanted to delete older emails after like 21 days but when I made that setting it also deleted the emails from my Archive so now I've lost a couple years of emails. How do you keep the inbox and trash cleaned out automatically without effecting the Archive folders?

I have just installed Thunderbird. I've completed the Account Setup. The page checks the input and then return an error message saying: "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password".
The username and password are stored in Bitwarden [Password Manager] so are not wrong. In any case, I have the same email account open in a different browser demonstrating that I am using the right log-in name and password.
Knowing that the configuration is likely incorrect is no help. I have no idea what part of the configuration is incorrect. Guidance on what to change would be appreciated.
[Just in case the developers are reading, it would be really useful if paste was not disabled for the password field. Other browsers don't disable paste and I don't see why security requires it.]

Any thoughts on this will be very much appreciated. I have 2 email accounts with Yahoo and am using Thunderbird to access them. It used to work properly, but now I can receive emails on both accounts, but can only send emails on one of them. The other account gives me the error message: "Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending email. The mail server responded: Request failed; Mailbox unavailable. Please verify that your email address is correct in your account settings and try again." When I then look at the SMTP user name, it shows the name for the other account. When I change that user name to the correct name, I can then send emails on that account, but the process also changes the user name in the second account, such that it no longer allows sending emails. In other words, when I go to 'account settings' and set the SMTP user name for account 1, then go to account 2 settings, I find that the account 1 user name shows up. If I then change the account 2 user name and go back to look at the settings for account 1, I find that the SMTP user name in account 1 has changed to the same as I just changed in account 2. Additional info: Prior to this problem, I had gone into my emails on the Yahoo website and changed the password on both accounts. When I then opened Thunderbird it asked me for the new passwords for each account, as it normally does, and everything looked fine until I tried to send using the one account. I recently updated my MacBook Pro to the latest MacOS (Sequoia). Though I didn't notice it immediately, today when I opened Firefox, all text is displayed in a foreign character set. It is pervasive - I've tried to use several tutorials to reset the language and all settings to default, but so far nothing has worked. I've uninstalled Firefox using AppCleaner (which gets any leftover files in OS folders, as well as the app itself), but a clean install results in the same issue. I've disabled all add-ons and reset all settings to default as near as I can tell. The only time the browser displays properly is when it's in Safe Mode. I'm not sure if this is related to the OS update, but I can't seem to identify any other recent change that could have the potential to cause this problem. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I updated my desktop browser today and now there is an expandable sidebar at the left margin of the window showing tool icons for Tabs from other devices, History and Customize sidebar. I can see how to remove tool icons and how to expand or collapse sidebar but can I remove the sidebar completely? Is this an option? I prefer the old look with the browser web page content extending all the way to the left of the screen, without the narrow vertical sidebar.

After briefly succumbing to the ToS hysteria, I decided to switch to Librewolf. It took a while, but I got logged into sync, set up my extensions and copied over my cookie exceptions and custom CSS.
Some of the data that came over from Firefox sync seemed very wrong or out of date, most notably the settings for container tabs. No big deal I thought. I'll just manually edit the discrepancies. Once I had everything set up the way I like it, I looked up a guide on how to sync my current configuration with the cloud and followed the steps.
Phew. Time to watch some YouTube to relax. Problem is that when I finished a video and tried to watch another video, I was logged out and my site settings had reverted to default. I figured the cookie settings were wrong, so I went to the settings page and saw the behaviour outlined in the video I posted.
I've been trying to get this working for over a day now. I've tried resetting Firefox, creating new profiles and doing a clean re-install using "Geek Uninstaller" to make sure everything is removed first. I've tried 3 different forks of Firefox and all 3 of them do the same thing. After I re-install everything, I open the browser and the first thing I do is go to the settings but it's still doing the thing I showed in the video.
The fact that the data on my Firefox Sync is so old has me wondering. Why won't the cloud data update itself anymore? Based on the state of my containers, the Sync data is more than a year out of date. Could there be something wrong with that data that broke my browser when it downloaded?
I'm going to try and get hold of another computer later and try syncing to that to see if it breaks that browser too. I'll update this post when I know more.

I would like to have the back, forward button, bookmarks to be pinned on the toolbar area. I try to use the Secret Setting but it does not have the option to enable toolbar. I have included two screenshots, the orange circle depicting my current situation. I would like to have something similar to the toolbar (Samsung Internet Browser) in the other screenshot with teal circle.

On a Windows 10 computer with TB Portable 128.6 and .7, folders can no longer be selected in the filters as ‘Run filter on’ or ‘perform these Actions’: the menu is greyed out. The phenomenon occurs with all accounts: POP and local. Various email providers, ESET virus scanner, Windows firewall, FritzBox cable router. The local account contains almost 30 GB of emails. The existing filters work as long as they do not affect the accounts or folders: for example, tagging e-mails works. Existing filters with folder-actions cannot be re-configured and no folder actions are possible when creating a new filter.
I have performed an update check and restarted Windows, changed the compression limit from 500 to 5 MB and changed a few minor settings so that the config is rewritten.
What could this be? How do I solve the problem? A workaround if necessary.

Today I cannot get the certificate popup to appear. which is fine I know where the certificates are managed but I have not a clue how to add a certificate OR what information to enter into the "Add security exception" dialogue box
