After new T-bird update today, I cannot open emails. (Lightning?)

Mozilla downloaded an update for Thunderbird today. Ever since that, I can no longer open my email folders. I have no way of seeing my emails.

buzzard, Did that help you? And are you using Lightning?

Uninstall Lightning via the Add-Ons Manager. Restart Thunderbird. Re-install Lightning if it's needed.
