After I installed adblock, bing became my default search engine. Even after removing all search engines apart from google from the default list I still got bing results every time I did a search. I would like to use adblock but also keep google as my default search. Eventually I had to get rid of Firefox and reinstall but I' stuck with ads again. Is bing compulsory with adblock?

Where did you get adblock from?

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open your Add-ons Manager. Hot key; <Control>(Mac=<Command>)<Shift> A)

In the Add-ons Manager, on the left, select Extensions. Remove bing Anything. Now do the same in the computers Programs Folder.

Windows: Start > Control Panel > Uninstall Programs. Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.
