How the H can I make this work without the help button nor other task bar?

Just installed the new download and CANNOT get anything to work - no toolbar useful menus etc. and cannot now access your email when you answer this. nor any other for that matter, nor can I send. Use F10 or alt to make a menu appear. Go straight to View|Toolbars and tick all the checkboxes.

Repeat in each individual window (main, compose, address book, message reading).
