Bookmark search in search bar not working properly

I have several tags but for this example I tag breweries with the tag brewery. When i type brewery in the awesome bar only new booksmarks show up but nothing old since updating to firefox 57.

Additionally when I search for websites they don't show up in awesome bar. For example you can see the attachments. If I search for a site called bloodyelbow.com it does not appear in awesome bar? How come? is there a database that is corrupt? I tried in safemode same results.

Is it working for you when searching in "LCtrl+B" bookmark sidebar searchbar? If not then it sounds like a bug to me. Then you could create a bug report right here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=bugForm%7CFirefox

Hi yes everything works fine using bookmark sidebar. See image attached. I should have mentioned that. I will submit bug report.

I think I see the problem. Even though my site is bookmarked when I go to the site I am not seeing it having the filled in star in the awesome bar; as if it is not bookmarked. I click the star and then the results are yielded correct. Should I export my booksmark,delete then re-import?
