Firefox suddenly stopped remembering my preferred resolution on YouTube I have to turn it down with every video to 240p I pay by the gig
I always play YouTube at 240p because I pay for the web by the gig. Suddenly they all start playing at 480, I have to "turn it down" to 240 at the beginning of every video. Can't imagine what it cost me before I noticed. I don't close Firefox before every video. Recently cleared cookies and cache . More recently had a power failure.

Note: Windows users should download the ActiveX for Internet Explorer. and the plugin for Plugin-based browsers (like Firefox).
Note: Windows 8 and Windows 10 have built-in flash players and Adobe will cause a conflict. Install the plugin only. Not the ActiveX.

Perhaps clearing the cookies may have deleted a Google cookie that would keep track of user settings at YouTube.
