Top Sites don't display in new tabs after Windows 10 install. Answers for this topic didn't resolve the issue. Page is completely blank with no tools or icons. Before install was able to edit the Top SItes using the ... when hovering over a top site. Now, there's NOTHING TO HOVER OVER.

Right clicking on the blank tab results in: (as shown is 2nd pic) Save Page As... View Background Image (which is grayed out) Select All View Page Source View Page Info Inspect Element Inspect Accessibility Properties

As attached, tried the about:config >>> solution but browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.enabled didn't display on the page.

Hi RBF.BLUE , Do you have Firefox Home (Default) selected for your New Tabs and Top Sites selected under Firefox Home Content ?

Do you have the new tab page set to a blank page in "Options/Preferences -> Home" instead of to Firefox Home ?

That would correspond to this pref:

  • browser.newtabpage.enabled = true
