When clicking “Play” on Roblox, it just opens a new tab and brings me to the homepage of Roblox.
So basically when I click “Play” on the Roblox website, it brings me to a new Roblox homepage tab. I know this isn’t really the place to be complaining about this, but I can’t find ANYTHING on Reddit, the Roblox forums, or any other help website, leaving the Mozilla forums as a last resort.

Yes, I do have Roblox installed. I also forgot to put in that I’m using a Mac. But it is set to open Roblox, but it just opens a new tab. I’ve also tried reinstalling it and restarting the computer. None worked.

This might seem like a dumb question, but you have the Roblox software installed, right?
If you do, it's possible that Firefox isn't setup to automatically open the Roblox software when you press play. To check that, go to the Firefox options page and scroll down to the Applications section and search for the roblox-player content type. It should be set to Use Roblox.
If that doesn't work, it might be worth uninstalling the Roblox game from your computer and then try installing it again.
Hope this helps.

I think roblox might have a glitch or a virus or something. And where did you get roblox? Because if you got it from some random website that might mean why its not working.

I got Roblox from the official website, roblox.com
Then i might be glitching then
Well I don’t think it’s a glitch, because if you were to open Roblox from the dock/finder, it just opens a new tab. That’s how it’s intended to be, just not when you want to actually play a game.
Try getting it from the app store. It might help
I’m on Mac, and it’s not on the Mac App Store
I think I’ll just use Chrome until Roblox fixes this problem
It might something wrong with your mac. What version do you have of mac?
