After installing Firefox 4(Beta) I didn't like it and deleted and reinstalled 3.15, now I have lost functions of auto fill of username/password as well as others in Tools/Options. Now just upgraded to 3.16 and problem continues.

After uninstalling Firefox 4(Beta) and reinstalling Firefox 3.15 I can no longer get it to save username/password combos. Also, I lost the 64 combos I had previously saved.

I no longer have that function in Firefox 3.15 and the 3.16 I just installed.

It also does not move the cursor to the next step as it did previously.

I can see losing the previous combos but I want the ability to save username/password combo and move cursor to the next step back.

I have had to resort to using Google Chrome, which saves username/password combo but does not move cursor to next step and is not as fast (ran benchmarks and results show Google Chrome to be about 25% as fast as Firefox.)

I want ALL the functionality I had before the Firefox 4(Beta) fiasco back.

what a pain! However, the solution is to simply install the Add-On "Autofill Forms". I'm not certain why Mozilla didn't automatically install the add-on as most of us rely on this feature. It's definitely not a good enough reason to uninstall and reinstall an earlier version and this version has some neat features
