After update, firefox says I'm in offline mode
Update went smoothly but now I get an "offline mode" message and can't access the intrnet.

You need to un-check "Work Offline" (click it to check or un-check). Do one of the following:
- Firefox button > Web Developer >Work Offline
- File > Work Offline (if using the Menu Bar)
- ALT+F+W (check or un-checks without display; reverses current checked/un-checked state)
