How does Firefox 7.0.1 handle super cookies?

In an older version I was prompted to delete 'super cookies' when I closed Firefox (which I gladly did). This newer version doesn't include any options to handle those super cookies, so what happens to them? Are they automatically blocked, or does Firefox delete them at some point (like closing the browser); or worst yet - do they remain on my computer?

Firefox removes cookies created by plugins via Clear Recent History > Cookies by starting a plugin-container for each plugin (this may produce an unresponsive script error).
