The Profile Manager is now apparently a separate function. Where do I download it?

The Profile Manager is now apparently no longer an integrated function, but is separate. In the main Mozilla information area, there is only the old method (firefox.exe -profilemanager) mentioned. Where do I download the new program?

Try using
firefox.exe -P

If you notice, I already mentioned firefox.exe -p (or -profilemanager) above.

Problem was, this command line wasn't working, in either of the Windows 7 'Start' methods. The default profile was loading without a manager option appearing. The task manager confirmed firefox was not staying loaded.

After several hours playing around, I 'appeared' to sort it.

I had once long ago used a second profile and deleted it with the manager. I located the firefox profiles.ini file and saw the value (1) in the line 'StartWithLastProfile' which of course steers the manager's 'start without asking' function. I edited that to (0) and the command line firefox -p then brought up the profile manager box as it normally should have done.

It seems strange for it to have made a difference, as I have experimented by changing the ini file line back to (1) and the -p switch works normally.

Main thing - it works.

Cheers
