very long right-click context menu is present
My FF is automatically upgraded to v20.x.x few days back and it has been a constant struggle to use after that.
Issue : Whenever i'm trying to open any link in a new tab by doing right clicking into it or any other task which include right clicking on the page, the context-menu getting opened is of WHOLE PAGE LENGTH, even bigger then that. Problem doesn't end here but the main problem lies in the fact that NONE OF THE OPTION work from context-menu.
I've not installed nay plugin or add-on before or after the upgrade nor have changed the config settings so not able to understand the issue. looking for the option to attach a screenshot but unable to do that but let me know if anybody want to have a look into that.
cheers .. rahul

Issues with a massive right-click context menu have been reported as caused by Firebug.
Please update Firebug to the latest version.

hello, please update the firebug addon: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/firebug/
And if you already HAVE the latest firebug?? I checked the page and it matches the version I've got. AND the save image as and other options no longer work AT ALL. I even tried turning off firebug and it still doesn't work!
Firebug is NOT the (only) issue! I never had it. Upgraded and got the hyper-extended right-click menu. installed fb, disabled it, enabled it, uninstalled it - no change. Firebug is NOT the culprit. 20.0.1 is thE issue.
Same problem with Firefox 21?
Firefox 20.0.1 and the current 22.0 is not the issue. It may likely be due to a extension, as I would look at those that have similarities to Firebug and those that add stuff to the right-click-context menu.
For example in starhorsepax's screen shot the "Play, Pause, Mute, unmute ..."etc stuff is not a default feature of Firefox and is added by a extension. Not saying that one is the culprit however it would be one I would rule out in disabling it to see.
the reason why we singled out firebug for the original poster is because he has provided his list of installed extensions under more system details. it might well be a different extension in your case.
an easy way to check if an addon is involved is to run firefox in safemode once: Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
the-edmeister nailed it. "21.0"? With update, and same config of add-ons & ext, testing on same webpage where issue first arose - BACK TO NORMAL! YEA! The only thing i can remember was installing a BitComet update and "integrating" FF. Seems to be resolved. Thank you for your input! newbie to forum: Ought i, and if so, how to i share this solution on other pages discussing this issue (where i commented)? Thank you again!
