why does firefox v 29 not enable the Trend Micro extension

Since the upgrade to v29 I am also getting plagued with advertising pop ups that I cannot disable.

Do the following:
- Update to Firefox 30 Update Firefox to the latest release
- Scan for malware, Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
- Reset Firefox, Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
- Install Adblock plus, www.adblockplus.org/
The trend micro extensions are a waste of resources, so don't even bother with them ;)
