Please help me.

I have a windows laptop with thunderbird version 31.0 with add on ( import export tool). I need to backup to profiles and the whole mail in .mbox to import later on a macbook air with maverick OSX. Also the adressbook export for the mac.

I tried a lot. Ones the backup was on the mac, but could not open it in mail ( macbook)

Could Somebody tells me step by step exactly whatt to do?

Thunderbird stores mail in mbox format in your profile. No need to export anything.

Now i need to export the adressbook from thunderbird to mail Mac. Could you tell me how to do this?
