I have 4 email account on my Thunderbird (which I love using.. you guys are ace !!). The first account I set comes up as the default one. I would like to set one of the other accounts to be the default.

right click the account in the folder tree. Select settings Scroll to the bottom of the list in account settings to Outgoing server (SMTP) and select it.

Set the server of your choice as Default.
