Sync error.engine.reason.unknown_fail; also lost all stored passwords everywhere....

A while ago, sync stopped working on all my computers. It says

"Sync encountered an error while syncing: Unknown error. Sync will automatically retry this action." Followed by a 'Sync now' or 'Preferences' button. I also noted that I lost all my passwords....

The log (about:sync-log) says 'error.engine.reason.unknown_fail' and the following:

"passwords failed: [Exception... "[JavaScript Error: "entries is undefined" {file: "jar:file:///C:/Users/..../AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/something.default/extensions/passifox@hanhuy.com.xpi!/components/loginmanagerstorage.js" line: 169}]'...."

Followed by a whole lot more. I've got passifox installed and also avira.

How would I get this back to work?

First, please post that entire Sync-log to pastebin and provide the resultant URL. http://pastebin.mozilla.org/

Do you have KeePass installed to go along with that extension? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/passifox/

Then, is KeePassHttp even compatible with Firefox Sync? Acording to this - https://github.com/pfn/passifox/blob/master/documentation/PassIFox.md - KeePass stores the passwords, so I wonder why Sync would lose passwords that were saved to KeePass? Or why your Passwords would have been saved in Firefox to begin with if you're using KeePass?

Disclaimer: I use Sync, but I have never use PassiFox and/or KeePassHttp due to possible incompatibility issues.

Ok, I disabled passifox and know Sync doesn't complain anymore.... my passwords are also back.....
