I have my Thunderbird Message Filters for a host of unwanted emails set to Delete From POP Server to include everything noted in both the From: and Subject: lines and I continue to get these unwanted emails in my InBox to the tune of 25 to 50 per day. So, I then set up filters at the ISP to include the same information with instructions to send to Trash. Shortly after setting up the ISP filters I received seven of these emails that I had just set up to be filtered. I checked the ISP mail site and they were all in their Trash folder with nothing in the Inbox. But, these same emails all came to my Thunderbird Inbox even though they are set to be filtered at both the ISP mail site and with Message Filters on Thunderbird. I have been fighting this for two months so if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'd rather use Thunderbird junk mail controls. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Junk_Mail_Controls
