Adobe Flash Player crashing
Firefox crashed and when I restarted, Flash Player no longer works; it keeps crashing, even after reboot, reset of Firefox, and update of Player. Sometimes my video will start, be very slow, then crash; sometimes the video doesn't even load before I receive an error message about a crash.
Following are my most recent crash reports. Firefox has been crashing a lot in general lately, but is usually fine on restart. However, having zero video capability is a new problem.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
- Tools > Options > Advanced > General > Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"
You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
You can check if there is an update for your graphics display driver and check for hardware acceleration related issues.
You can check for problems with current Shockwave Flash plugin versions and try this:
- make sure you have the latest Flash version:
http://www.adobe.com/special/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html - check for updates for your graphics drive drivers
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/upgrade-graphics-drivers-use-hardware-acceleration - disable protected mode in the Flash plugin (Windows Vista and later)
https://support.mozilla.org/kb/adobe-flash-protected-mode-firefox - disable hardware acceleration in the Flash plugin
https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/video-playback-issues.html - disable hardware acceleration in Firefox

Thank you for your reply! None of those responses have worked. Following are more recent crash reports. Notably, when I attempt to watch Hulu, I get an error message that Flash has crashed, with no crash report generated.

Bizarrely, after multiple crashes, I just tried to reload Hulu and it worked this time. I took no action after the preceding 5 reload attempts, and it seems to be working now...
Well, that lasted for 4 minutes. Flash crashed again, with no report submitted. When I clicked reload, the window just went completely gray.
Hello Natalie137,
Can we just check if there is an update available to your Graphics Driver. Assuming you are on an Intel machine I would suggest you get a scan by Intel Driver Update Utility (https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24345/Intel-Driver-Update-Utility)
Apply the updates, give a system restart and try loading those videos. Keep us updated
Thank you for the suggestion. I have updated the driver and that did not fix the solution. I can see video in all other locations; Silverlight produces video on Netflix, I can watch YouTube, etc. The only issue appears to be with flash on Hulu.
When I go to Adobe's test page, it tells me I have the most recent version installed. However, there is a video clip that doesn't play and the error message is "a plugin is required to play this content."
hello Natalie137,
Assuming that your whole window is not hanging up/turning gray, and its just the flash that wont load, lets try after installing both of these:-
1)https://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ 2)https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ (you mentioned you got the latest)
After the installation type into the Mozilla Firefox address bar : about:addons
Look for the Adobe/Shockwave Flash and select Always Activate from the drop down menu next to it.
please let us know..

Thank you for the response. I tried the suggestions and still have immediate crashing of the Hulu popout window, with the crash notification, the reload link, and "no report available."
I thought maybe it was a problem with the popout window, so I tested watching Hulu in the native window; the program loaded and played for about 1 minute before crashing.
FYI, sometimes the popout does go entirely gray when I attempt to reload the page, but that is rare.
I haven't tried to use Hulu in a few days; I tried again this morning and thought all was well with flash player. I was able to watch about 10 minutes of a show before the player crashed again with no report available. Any other suggestions?
Thank you!
I thought I would add that Firefox has repeatedly crashed, too. See reports below.
