For the last 12-13 years I have been a loyal Firefox user. It has been my default browser for this entire time. All of a sudden in the last 6 months or so the browser has transformed into a colossal piece of worthless x. I am sorry to swear but I just don't know of any word outside of x that properly describes this browser now days. Every single time I try to read a news article on yahoo.com (and many other sites) the browser locks up and gives me a debug script error message. This is so bad that it completely freezes up my entire computer. Yeah I know, your probably thinking "stop downloading porn buddy." Fortunately for me, I do not download ANYTHING on this computer. I have another computer that I use to download games, programs, and music on. This is just used for surfing. I have top of the line McAfee antivirus and security software and am very careful what sites I visit. This is not due to any of my browsing habits. The computer is less than a year old. So I apologize for not leaving any excuses for you to use against me. Your program sucks now. I don't know what changes you have made to the program over the last 6 months, but I assure you they suck.

It is really sad because your browser used to be so far ahead of everything else, I never ever saw myself using anything else, but I am here to tell you that after this e-mail is sent, I will never open Firefox again until someone from your company e-mails me and assures me that you have either fixed this x or that you have designed something else that actually works. I do not ever remember a relationship in my life where something or someone that I had such high regards for just magically transformed into a x without warning.

If you should decide to fix whatever is wrong with your product, please shoot me an e-mail and I will be happy to come back; otherwise, I guess this is farewell. Please don't e-mail me and tell me to change this setting or that setting or in some other way modify or change the standard functionality or programming of the program. That is not my gig, I am an organizational psychologist, not an IT guy.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
