My menu is gone and most of the options appear to be inactive, can someone tell me how to fix this problem?

I am having a few problems with Firefox right now and no matter what I try, nothing appears to be helping at all: -All of my add-ons and sites on the menu bar have disappeared and I have no idea how to get the back because: -Most of my Firefox buttons appear to be inactive. The back button is grey and will not do anything when I click on it. The 'Open Menu' button will not allow me to click on it. I cannot refresh the page. I cannot open the 'Customize' option under View>Toolbars. The only way I can go back is by doing it through the 'History' option. I have tried restarting Firefox. I have tried restarting my computer. I haven't received an email when attempting to log in. I can't try many options to fix it because I can't click on most of the things I need to to attempt to fix it. -I can't even seem to add an image below on this page.

Please tell me what I can do to fix it because attempting to fix it is getting exhausting and I only seem to find more problems as I try!

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with networking. Then start Firefox. Try Safe websites. Is the problem still there?
