"Your email was just returned" on a yahoo.com account that has been working for years with ff sync
hi, after 20 years using my address at yahoo.com, I just logged out firefox sync and tried to re-log in again and got immediately "Your email was just returned". I have been using that email for almost 20 years and I've been using it for ff sync since it was born with no issue. What's going on today? I have no email in the spam folder, sync didn't even try to send one because I got the error at the first attempt to log in. the email address is the same I just user to register for support ff 54.0 for ubuntu on arm64

the email address just worked fine to register with mozilla support, got the verification email fine
so the email from ff sync can't have been bounced and, as explained, it didn't even try once, I got the message before it ever sent the first verification email
is there some issue with the firefox sync service at this very moment?
last update - just logged on accounts.firefox.com with that email address and my password, so not a problem with the account
when tried to log onto ff sync it had precompiled my email address from the accounts.firefox.com login and asked for the password
but it still immediately says that "Your Email was just returned"
is there some flag in the user db that was turned on by some ff sync bug?
obviously yahoo isn't bouncing emails, as I could register for support and receive the verification emails
also, there's no problem with my ff sync account, as I could log in accounts.firefox.com
so it must be an issue with the ff sync service or a bug that triggered some flag on my user
