I have just had to have my c drive rebuilt after the disk crashed and want to configure Thunderbird to use/import my previous emails. These were stored on my D drive, a disk that is still fine. How do I configure TBird to import the mails that I have stored on d:\ThunderBird and use the same location for my new files.

Use import export ng addon. Then import emails from a directory.
