When awakened from PC sleep Thunderbird shows 'could not connect'
With Thunderbird running, I will often put my PC in sleep mode. When I wake it up some time later, Thunderbird shows 'could not connect'. A click on 'Get messages' then behaves normally.
I presume that it has not given time for something to start up before sending an 'are you there' request. How can I avoid this irritant?
This does not happen if I go to sleep mode and then awaken in a few seconds.
Settings Get messages at startup.
and Check every 10 minutes
