My emails, in course of drafting, go to my inbox every 5 minutes before I decide to send. How do I stop this? (T'bird Linux Mint 128.1.0 esr)

Is it anything to do with my preferences - or something else. Very frustrating.

- in settings>composition, change the frequency of saves to a higher number - in account settings>copies&folders, change folder for saving drafts.
