Does Firefox have it's own search engine?

No Firefox does not have its own search engine. I wish it did as it would more focused on privacy than Google. But DuckDuckGo & Startpage appear to be two very privacy focused search engines. So that's two alternative options for you.
Firefox also relies on other search engines like Ecosia, Qwant, Startpage, Google, Bing, and Yahoo. Since Firefox can't build its own search engine, it partners with companies who build them.
See one example of Firefox's partnership with the Ecosia search company: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/mozilla/firefox-ecosia-partnership/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ecosia-the-green-search/
Mozilla Firefox or Firefox for short is a web browser. Mozilla the makers of the Firefox web browsers does not have a search engine of their own.
