I was able to simply unistall it from 'control panel >> programs and features >> then i had to enter the provided code when unistalling the yourprofitclub thing. Also unistalled the programm called something like 'performace enhancer' which had itself installed at the same day. Which was btw a day after the firefox update.

Hope this helps for you 2.

I just removed it by following the manual removal guide: http://blog.teesupport.com/remove-yourprofitclub-com-hijacker-virus-yourprofitclub-manual-removal/ And now I am using Malwarebyte to scan my computer to detect whether there are other potential threats. You need to update your security software always :)
